When you've chosen your new Dreamtime wall mural, the first step is to measure your wall. Please make sure to measure accurately as we produce these murals to YOUR specifications. The maximum size of a Standard sized Dreamtime wall mural is 3,500mm wide X 2,500mm high (11.48 feet wide X 8.20 feet high). Your measurements need to be under these dimensions.

And when supplying your wall's dimensions, please keep in mind that the wall must be measured exactly. Add an additional 150mm (6 inches) to the depth of your mural for trimming top and bottom (within the 2,500mm depth).

If your wall is larger than 3,500mm X 2,500mm (11.48 feet X 8.20 feet), then simply centre your mural. No special frame is necessary unless you feel a frame is needed. Keeping in mind that a wooden frame such as that found around doors and windows can give the illusion of an opening in the wall.

And yes, we can also produce larger than standard sized Dreamtime wall murals. However a price for this extra service depends on your requirements. Should you require a free quote, please phone, fax or email us.

We'll rework your chosen mural design to make sure that no object of significance is cut. It'd be very annoying to have half a fish disappearing into the side wall or a dinosaur without its head.

Before installing your new Dreamtime wall mural, you must first prepare your wall.

You'll need to ensure that the wall is clean, smooth and free of irregularities. The ideal surface is a wall painted with a flat acrylic paint. If the wall has an existing gloss or semi-gloss paint, use a medium grade sandpaper to slightly roughen the surface.

If your wall is textured, wood panelled or any other rough surface, then we strongly recommend that you install a liner paper, followed by 2 coats of a flat acrylic paint. A liner paper is simply a blank wallpaper which covers irregularities on the wall surface.

There are three (3) options available to you when installing your new Dreamtime wall mural.

OPTION 1
 Self install your new mural.
Simply download the following easy to use instructions. (installation instructions.pdf)
We will also be supplying installation instructions with your mural.

OPTION 2
 Get a reputable wallpaper hanger or handy person to install your new mural.
Simply go to Wallpapering & Wallcovering Services or
Handyman Services in the yellow pages or your local newspaper.

OPTION 3
 We install your new mural.
(At present, this option is only available to Melbourne customers)

Our price for this extra service is only $300-00 AUD (GST inclusive) for each mural installed.
We ask that the wall is prepared and ready for hanging before we arrive.
